# TOTOPUB

> TOTOPUB is a sports prediction game for pubs, sports bars and groups of friends.
> Players scan a QR code or open a link, predict basketball and football scores in
> about 30 seconds, and follow a live leaderboard on their phone or on the bar's
> screen. No betting and no stakes: in a bar, guests play for free, with no app to
> install and no sign-up, and the bar treats the winner of the night.

TOTOPUB is a web app that works in any phone browser. It is made in Lithuania and
available in English and Lithuanian. Last updated: 2026-11-02.

## How it works in a bar

1. The bar picks tonight's matches from a schedule (basketball and football:
EuroLeague, LKL, Champions League, Premier League and more).
2. Guests scan the QR code on the table (or type the bar code) and enter a nickname.
3. Guests predict each match before it starts.
4. Scoring: an exact score is worth 3 points, the right outcome (win, draw or loss)
1 point, otherwise 0. There are no negative points. If nobody scores in a match,
the closest guess gets 1 point, so the night always has a winner.
5. The live leaderboard shows the winner of the night. On a tie the bartender spins
a wheel. The bar chooses the prize.

Setup for a bar takes about five minutes, and a guest joins in about 30 seconds.
No hardware, installation or training is needed: one printed QR code covers the
whole bar.

## How it works with friends

One person creates a game, picks the matches and shares a link or QR code in the
group chat. Friends join and predict with the same scoring as in a bar (3 points for
an exact score, 1 for the right outcome). The leaderboard updates live, and the
person with the most points wins the game. A one-night game lasts 24 hours.

## FAQ

**Is TOTOPUB gambling?**
No. Players never stake money. There is no money pool and no odds. In a bar, only
the bar pays, a flat subscription for the software. In a game with friends, the
person who creates it pays once for the game, not for predictions.

**Do guests need to download an app?**
No. TOTOPUB runs in the phone browser. In a bar, guests only enter a nickname.

**Which sports can you predict?**
Basketball and football: EuroLeague, LKL, Champions League, Premier League and other
leagues. Tennis and rugby are planned.

**How is the winner decided?**
By points: 3 for an exact score, 1 for the right outcome. If points are tied, a
wheel picks the winner.

**Can one owner run several bars?**
Yes. One account and one payment cover all bars, and each bar keeps its own QR code,
leaderboard and bartenders. A bartender sees their bar's console, not billing or
other bars.

**Can I play at home?**
Yes. Games with friends work anywhere: everyone predicts from their own phone.
